Coach J's mission is to create a high-performance environment where students of all levels can thrive. The focus is prioritised on developing strong, skilled, and confident warriors. Not just in combat sports, but in all areas of life.


Coach J’s coaching philosophy revolves around attention to detail, ensuring his students and clients improve quickly and efficiently. His meticulous approach to training focuses on refining technique, strategy, and conditioning, tailored to each athlete’s individual needs. Whether working with beginners or professional fighters, Coach J’s goal is to help them demonstrate progress in every session.


Coach J has coached professional fighters in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and MMA, supporting them during their training camps and cornering them in competition. He has also coached amateur boxing athletes, helping them prepare for competitive bouts with a strategic and disciplined approach to their training.


Before transitioning into full-time coaching, Coach J spent 5 years as a school teacher in Switzerland, working with children and youth across primary and secondary levels, including those with disabilities and behavioral challenges. His background in education has given him valuable insight into human development and the ability to connect and drive self development with students of all ages. He has also led numerous sports camps and youth programs, teaching life skills such as confidence, discipline, and respect through martial arts.


As a certified personal trainer and holder of a bachelor’s degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Education, Coach J combines real-world fighting experience with a scientific approach to maximise performance and reduce the risk of injury. Not to mention Coach J is a DBS verified coach and has L1 to L3 Safeguarding
.

ALL STUDENTS IN THE KIDS AND YOUTH PROGRAMS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT:

NOTE: THIS EQUIPMENT IS ESSENTIAL TO PROTECT YOUR CHILD AND OTHERS DURING TRAINING. WITHOUT THE PROPER GEAR, PARTICIPATION IN CERTAIN EXERCISES OR SPARRING MAY BE RESTRICTED.

 • CHEST PROTECTOR (WOMEN ONLY – FOR SPARRING OR FIGHT PREP)

TO ENSURE A CLEAN AND RESPECTFUL ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERYONE, ALL STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW THESE HYGIENE AND HEALTH GUIDELINES:


1.KEEP NAILS TRIMMED – LONG FINGERNAILS OR TOENAILS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO TRAINING PARTNERS.


2.WEAR CLEAN TRAINING CLOTHES AND GEAR TO EVERY SESSION.


3. MAINTAIN PERSONAL HYGIENE – ARRIVE TO CLASS CLEAN, AND AVOID BRINGING ANY UNPLEASANT BODY ODOUR INTO THE GYM.


4. DO NOT ATTEND CLASS IF YOU’RE FEELING UNWELL – COUGHING, FEVER, FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, OR ANY ILLNESS SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. PLEASE STAY HOME TO PROTECT OTHERS.


RESPECT FOR TEAMMATES STARTS WITH SELF-CARE. 


STUDENTS WHO FAIL TO MEET THESE HYGIENE STANDARDS MAY BE ASKED TO SIT OUT OR LEAVE THE SESSION.
